Michelle      May I speak to Jennifer, please?

 

Jennifer       This is Jennifer. 

 

Michelle      Hi Jennifer, this is Michelle.

 

Jennifer       Hi, Michelle, How are you?

 

Michelle       I’m doing great.  The weather is gorgeous today.  I’m going to take a walk, Would you like to join me?

 

Jennifer       I’m sorry, I have a very tight schedule today, but thanks for asking.  When did you start exercising?

 

Michelle      I just started recently.  Lately, there have been many new studies showing that regular and moderate exercise can improve your health.  I think it’s never too late to start.

 

Jennifer       I agree, but why did you pick walking?

 

Michelle      You can do whatever you like, such as yoga, gym, workouts, swimming, or bicycling.  I feel a brisk walk fits me best.  I like the outdoors, and running hurts my knees.

 

Jennifer      How often do you go walking?

 

Michelle     I walk about 3-5 times a week for 30 minutes each time.

 

Jennifer      Can you give me a call when you go walking next time?  I

think I’ll start exercising, too.

 

Michelle      I will.

 

Jennifer       Thanks!
