your account for you. Mark: Thank you. Teller (to Nina): Nina, this is Mark. He would like to open a checking
account. Nina: Hi Mark, how are you today? Mark: I am well, thank you. How are you? Nina: I am great! I hear you want to open a checking
account, correct? Mark: That is correct. Nina: Are you currently a student? Mark: I am currently a student. I attend the University of Washington. Nina: Okay, so we will open a student
checking account for you. It has
no minimum balance and only requires a $50 opening deposit. In addition, we
can offer you many other services with this account, such as on-line banking,
and a student credit card. Mark: Yes, I would like to open a
student checking account. However, I don't need the other services. Nina: Okay. In order to open your account, I will need two pieces of
identification. Mark: Can I use a Washington State driver's license? Nina: Yes, you may. We will also need another
identification, such as a passport, proof of citizenship papers, or military
identification. Mark: I have my passport with me. Nina: Good, then we can start opening
your account right now! May
I see your driver's license and
passport, while you fill out this paperwork? (Mark completes
the paper work, and Nina confirms his identification papers). Nina: The last step we need to take is the $50 opening
deposit. We can accept checks or cash. Mark: I have $75 in cash I will make an opening deposit
with. (Gives Nina $75 for the opening
deposit) Nina: Okay, your student checking
account has now been opened. Here is your ATM card, which you can use at any of our bank
locations free of charge. Is
