Letter to a Friend
It is 2:00 in the afternoon and I am sitting in our library. The library is called Chung-Cheng Memorial Library. Do you know it is one of the largest libraries in Taipei? It is a beautiful day in Taipei. The sky is unspeakably blue and I am thinking of you. There are many students in the library. They are studying their lessons. A few students are sleeping or talking to their friends, but most of the students are busy. The librarians are standing behind the front counter helping students borrowing books. There are pictures and notices on the wall and there are some flowers on the counter. This is a nice place to think of you and write you this letter.
I am fine. I am learning a lot of English in my classes and I like most of my professors and classmates. I attend classes Monday through Friday, so I am terribly busy all the time. In my opinion, college students are much busier than those in high schools if they study seriously. My family are well and send greetings to you.
I hope that you are well and happy. Please tell me what it is like to be a college student as I told you about it in my last letter. When will you come to Taipei? Please write soon.
